Mary Fougerousse received her Bachelor’s Degree in German Intellectual History with a Concentration in Music from the University of Dallas in 2015. While attending, she was involved in many musical productions, her favorite role was that of Cunegonde in Bernstein’s Opera Candide. She has interned with the Dallas Opera Development Team and the Education Outreach Program. She has sung for concerts with Voces Intimae, the St.Thomas Aquinas Choir, the Nasher Sculpture Center, the Dallas Goethe Center and the Dallas Bach Society. She also frequently enjoys serving as a Wedding cantor. In addition to opera, she sings jazz standards in a collaborative duo. She is a voice, piano and ukulele teacher for RBR Muzik School and a Kindergarten teacher at Great Hearts Academy. She is available to sing for Weddings in the DFW metroplex.
